BS Medicom (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) is committed to fair trade practices and consumer rights in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. This Policy outlines the conditions under which a customer (“Consumer”, “Customer”, “You”) may seek return, replacement, refund, or cancellation of products purchased from BS Medicom.
Nothing contained in this Policy shall be deemed to limit or exclude any statutory rights available to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable law in force in India.
This Policy applies to all medical devices, diagnostic equipment, ophthalmic instruments, accessories, and consumables sold by BS Medicom
3.1 The Consumer is advised to inspect the product at the time of delivery.
3.2 Any damage, defect, shortage, or incorrect product must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
3.3 Failure to report within the stipulated time shall be treated as deemed acceptance, without prejudice to the Consumer’s rights in case of latent manufacturing defects.
Subject to verification, return or replacement may be permitted in the following cases:
a. Product delivered is defective or deficient as defined under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019
b. Product delivered is damaged during transit
c. Product delivered does not conform to the order or invoice
d. Manufacturing defect confirmed by technical evaluation
All requests must be raised within 7 (seven) days from the date of delivery, except in cases of latent defects discovered during normal use within the warranty period.
In accordance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements applicable to medical devices, the following shall not be eligible for return or refund, unless the product is proven to be defective or deficient:
Products that have been used, installed, or altered
Consumables once opened or used
Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, improper storage, power fluctuations, liquid ingress, or unauthorized servicing
Demo units or products sold at discounted or clearance prices (unless defective)
Software, licenses, or digital products once activated
Products returned without original packaging, accessories, or serial numbers
To initiate a return or replacement request, the Consumer must submit the following to admin@bsmedicom.com:
Copy of invoice or proof of purchase
Product serial number
Description of the issue
Supporting photographs or videos
BS Medicom shall examine the request and, if found valid, issue a Return Authorization (RA). Products returned without RA approval may be rejected.
7.1 All returned products shall undergo inspection by the Company or manufacturer.
7.2 Based on inspection, BS Medicom may, at its discretion and in compliance with law, offer:
Repair
Replacement
Refund
7.3 If no defect or deficiency is found, the product shall be returned to the Consumer, and applicable logistics charges may apply.
8.1 Refunds shall be processed only where replacement or repair is not feasible and approved by the manufacturer.
8.2 Approved refunds shall be processed within 7–14 working days.
8.3 Refunds shall be made through the original payment method or bank transfer.
8.4 Charges for installation, training, commissioning, consumables, and services already rendered shall not be refundable, except where mandated by law.
Replacement is subject to product availability from the manufacturer
Replacement does not extend or restart the original warranty period
Replacement timelines may vary depending on supplier or manufacturer lead times
10.1 Orders may be cancelled only before dispatch.
10.2 Orders once dispatched shall not be eligible for cancellation.
10.3 Custom-built or special-order products shall not be cancellable.
Warranty-related complaints shall be handled strictly as per the applicable warranty terms provided with the product and shall not automatically entitle the Consumer to a refund.
Warranty exclusions include:
Physical or cosmetic damage
Electrical damage due to power surges
Unauthorized repairs or modifications
To the extent permitted under applicable law, BS Medicom shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including loss of business, revenue, or data.

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India, and subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts and consumer forums in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
BS Medicom reserves the right to modify this Policy in accordance with applicable laws. The updated Policy shall be effective upon publication.
